About
Third Coast Community Development is built on a simple belief: enduring projects begin by listening first.
Every community has its own history, character, strengths, and aspirations. Rather than bringing a one-size-fits-all approach, we work alongside communities and partners to identify practical development opportunities that reflect local priorities and create lasting value.
The principles that guide us are universal: thoughtful planning, responsible stewardship, strong partnerships, and long-term value.
Current Focus
Third Coast Community Development is currently serving as the Emerging Rural Developer Fellow for Door County through a partnership with NeighborWorks Green Bay. Working alongside municipalities, nonprofit organizations, lenders, developers, and community leaders, the fellowship focuses on expanding housing opportunities and strengthening communities throughout Door County.
Key partners currently include NeighborWorks Green Bay, the Workforce Housing Lending Corporation, the Door County Housing Partnership, the Door County Economic Development Corporation, the Door County Community Foundation, local governments, and many other public and private collaborators working to address housing needs across the county.
The Fellowship is being led by the Office of Rural Prosperity at the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, is sponsored by the Bank of Luxemburg, and is made possible with funding from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago.
